First year Advice: College is a time to have new experiences, make new friends and for the first time in your Academic History be treated like an adult. If my first year of college taught me anything its this, academically be in control of your grades don’t just aim for a pass, get the best grades you can get, there’s nothing more assuring then knowing you are in control of your grades. Furthermore be prepared to make sacrifices for the sake of your education, in the short run it make suck but in the long run its worth the investment. Also if you can join the Student’s association’s group on facebook, that will give you the lowdown on whats going on at Algonquin College.
