Corporate VRTUCAR Plan now available!

Parking services has negotiated a corporate plan for Algonquin College employees using the service at the Woodroffe Campus location.  For full details, see our Sustainable Options page.

2013-2014 Parking Permit Availability

Permits will go on sale May 27, 2013 for returning students and staff and July 2, 2013 for new students

Parking permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis to all users of the facilities.  In the event that permits sell out, a waitlist will be created and updated daily.

Payroll deduction for staff will be available online through our Parking Management Software or in person in room C044a

Please note that 2013-2014 permits will not be valid until August 26, 2013.  Rates for Woodroffe campus permits are available here. 

Permits for the satellite campuses are available from the administrative offices at each location during the same time frames noted above.

Pay by Text

You can now pay by text at parking lots at Woodroffe campus in two easy steps: Register online at iparked.ca. Then park and pay using your mobile phone. You will get a text prior to your parking expiration, and can add more money to extend your time from wherever you are. It’s that easy! *The cost is $0.50 per parking interaction.

Actions to reduce air pollution and its impacts

Many actions taken by the College have helped reduce the burning of fossil fuels, which in turn reduces air pollution load. For example, bringing more riders to our public transit system by having OC Transpo route going through campus, or encouraging more trips by foot or bicycle reduces emissions from car travel.

Anti-idling Campaign and By-law

Idling cars and trucks contaminate the air. Ottawa has adopted a new  Idling Control By-law that came into effect in September 2007. This effort is supported by a public education campaign. The by-law limits idling to three minutes when the outside temperature is between 5° C and 27°C.
