The Algonquin Language Institute is a testing site.

We offer you numerous language proficiency tests used as requirements for colleges, universities, immigration processes, and employability in Canada and abroad.

Tests include:

TOEFL	The Test of English as a Foreign Language measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings.
IELTS	The International English Language Testing System measures the ability to communicate in English across all four language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) for those who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.
CAEL	Canadian Academic English Language Assessment is designed to describe the level of English language of test takers planning to study in English-medium colleges and universities.
CELPIP	The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program — General Test is a complete English language testing program that assesses general levels of functional competency.
TFI	The Test de français international evaluates the French level of non-francophones. This multiple choice test assesses a candidate’s ability to understand, speak, read and write French as it is used in the international workplace.
