This newly launched tool is designed to help you find a good career by providing the most current local data on wages, employment, job postings, and associated education and training. You can search by career or program keywords, or browse all the careers and programs.
Students and Graduates
The Employment Support Centre provides job search assistance to students and graduates. We provide assistance with résumé and cover letter writing, interview preparation, networking tips and many more job search strategies. We host a variety of recruitment and networking events and career fairs, as well as maintain an up-to-date job posting board exclusive to Algonquin students and graduates: MyCareerZone.
We offer a full range of services, including: online job postings of your summer, part-time, or full-time positions, on-campus recruitment services, which include provision of interview space and booth space in a high-profile area and access to students through recruitment events and activities such as information sessions and Career Fairs. Please contact us to arrange an in-class presentation on topics including: Networking and Job Search Strategies, Résumé and Cover Letters, Interview Skills, and Portfolios. We can also create presentations customized to your specific class and program.
