Testing Accommodations
Process for Test-Taking at the CSD
We offer testing accommodations for the following types of assessments:
1. Admissions Test
2. Academic Upgrading Test
3. Arranging for Testing Accommodations by paper forms
4. Arranging for Testing Accommodations Online
1) Admissions Assessments
1. Provide the required documentation to the Centre for Students with Disabilities (CSD).
2. A Counsellor will assess appropriate accommodations for your disability.
3. You will be contacted to arrange a date, time and room to write your admissions test.
4. Arrive at the Test Centre (Room C224, Ottawa campus) 30 minutes before your scheduled exam time. Bring photo identification and a method of payment.

2) Academic Upgrading Tests (AU)
1. Provide the required documentation to the CSD.
2. Make an appointment with a Counsellor.
3. Your Counsellor will look at your documentation and provide you with an Individual Student Plan (ISP).
4. Book a date and time to write your AU placement test.
5. On the day of your orientation, please go to the classroom indicated on your schedule. When testing begins in the classroom, please proceed to the CSD (C142, Ottawa campus) to start your exam.

3) Arranging Testing/Exam Accommodations by paper forms
1. Provide your professor(s) with a copy of your Individual Student Plan (ISP) every semester.
2. Complete the student section of the Testing Accommodation Form and fill out the rest with your professor. If your professor is not available to complete the Testing Accommodation Form, please see your Department Coordinator.
3. Leave the pink copy with the professor, keep the yellow copy for your own records, and take the white copy to the CSD drop box (across from C210, Ottawa campus) at least seven days prior to the scheduled test time.
4. On the day of your test, check the list outside C210 or C142 for your test location. For final exams, check the list located outside C101 and C142 for your exam location. Bring your student card to the exam room.

4) Arranging Testing/Exam Accommodations Online
Available for limited programs at this time.
1. Provide your professor(s) with a copy of your Individual Student Plan (ISP) every semester.
2. Sign on to the Online Test Booking System and request an exam date and time for your course.
4. On the day of your test, check the list outside C210 or C142 for your test location. For final exams, check the list located outside C101 and C142 for your exam location. Bring your student card to the exam room.
