Faculty Resources

It is the student’s responsibility to provide their faculty with an Individual Student Plan (ISP), which outlines their academic accommodations. If you have any questions, the student’s Disability Counsellor’s name and contact information is provided on the ISP. Faculty are encouraged to invite students registered with the CSD to meet one-on-one during their office hours to discuss their accommodations and individual academic needs. All information regarding a student’s disability is to be kept strictly confidential. Faculty are not required to provide accommodations to students who do not self-identify by providing an ISP.

If you suspect that a student may have a disability, you can refer them to the CSD where they can schedule an appointment with the Intake and Assessment Needs Advisor. For more information, contact the CSD.
